Happy Birthday

This layout features a photo of my eldest son on his 1st birthday, 4 years ago! I used a 6x6 paper pad from the Happy Days collection from Papermania...not a brand i usually buy, but this collection just appealed to me as it is very versatile with lots of small patterns, and is also a little girly but includes enough blues and greens to be easily usable on boy layouts. I also used a flower from the same collection. The stamped tickets are also from the same collection...originally the stamp was one large 6x6 but i cut it up and now have quite a few little ticket stamps which i think will also be hugely versatile. I also love how my stamping is turning out now i am using different ink - its so much crisper and a nice deep black. The happy birthday sticker was an old one from Basic Greys Cupcake range/ The other stamps (camera, snapshot and oh hoe lovely) are by Amy Tan (i LOVE these stamp sets!). The page didnt turn out how i imagined it at all...i was going to use the tickets and make them 'hang' from a line of bakers twine...but that just wasnt working with the large happy birthday sticker. So i went for a 4 sectioned layout...which always works well when using 6x6 papers.
