Hunting for Pinecones

This is the first page i made at July's crop. It is based on Glitter Girls adventure #27 about depth. The tutorial mostly appealed to me because of the use of 3 pieces of 6x6 paper, which i have quite a lot of. I thought i could add the depth by using some of the wooden letters i cut on my dads CRC machine and this gave rise to the colour scheme chosen.

The larger two papers are from Studio Calicos Take Note collection and the smaller 3 pieces are from Basic Greys Periphary 6x6 pad. I then added LOTS of embellishments from my stash, and even came across the material leaf which i though fitted the page well...i only found this because i happened to be sorting out my 3 boxes of 'bits and pieces' of stash.
