Jump

Here is my latest creation...a Layout using Shimelles sketch of the week.

 I am really pleased with how it turned out as i managed to incoperate all the things i wanted to into the page. Firstly i had in my head that i wanted to use a bright turquoisey blue colour, simply because i am loving that colour at the moment. I also wanted to scrap with some of the photos taken whilst on our holiday this year, as that pile is still too big! I also used my new notepad border punch and several items of very old stash (the brads and clear bubble sticker) as well as managing to make up the title using one of my favourite alphas, of which i barely have any letters left....in fact i had to create the letter P by cutting up an R!

 Then lastly i attempted to use paint on the layout...something i am wanting to try a lot more of as i am really inspired by Emy Buxton and by all the youtube videos on art journalling i have been watching recently. The paint was some metallic blue that i had bought to make christmas presents with last year...it matched perfectly (though doesnt photograph as well!)...which is just as well as it is the only pot of acrylic paint i own (not counted a few small tubes of very old acrylic pain - which is what i will be using on future LOs for the moment!)
